Gate King replaces your truck’s factory tailgate cables with durable chromoly steel adjusters that let you secure your tailgate in eight different positions. Just lift the tailgate to your desired angle and listen for the click—this means the ratchet and pin system is engaged and locked.
In the neutral position, they function like your stock cables. Built to withstand the elements, Gate King adjusters are coated for maximum protection. Simply clean and lightly lubricate as needed to keep them performing for the life of your truck.
Easy Install
Gate King installs in about 10 minutes per side using the included stainless steel hardware. Simply remove your stock tailgate cables and replace them with the Gate King arms—just match the left (L) and right (R) markings.
Attach the hardware with the provided washers and bolts, apply Loctite, and tighten in place. Once installed, flip the tabs up to engage the locking system and you’re ready to go.
A release tool is included in case the latch ever sticks, though operation is smooth and reset is automatic when closing the tailgate.
